West Gippsland Arts Centre is thrilled to announce the return of Forecourt Fridays this summer! Forecourt Friday is a free, family-friendly music event series that takes place in our forecourt, supporting local musicians and offering an exciting experience for audience members of all ages.
Forecourt Friday is headed into its third season, with a successful second season last year, culminating in a ‘community music spectacular’ featuring Warragul Municipal Band, Gippsland Symphony Orchestra, Niels Bijl & Sara Beale, and the Hip Pockets.
Forecourt Friday is set to captivate families again with another line-up of spectacular acts, including local vocalists, an encore of the ‘community music spectacular’ and an act or two from Melbourne. Forecourt Fridays will be held across four dates this Summer. The first event was held on Friday, 5 December with the next events on Friday, 16 January, Friday, 27 February, and the last event on Friday, 27 March.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camp chairs and picnic blankets and are recommended to support Warragul’s local restaurants by ordering takeaway and enjoying it in the Forecourt. The West Gippsland Arts Centre bar will be open to serve you; however, bringing your own alcohol is not permitted. In the event of rain, the festivities will continue inside the venue.
