Forecourt Fridays is back by popular demand. This free family-friendly event series will take place in the West Gippsland Arts Centre forecourt, offering an exciting experience for audience members of all ages.

This year, art workshops for children will take place before two musical acts.

Last summer’s Forecourt Friday series featured standout performances from musical talents like Ally Row, Queen of Hearts, Cool Out Sun, Todd Cook, and Harry Hook. This year, the event promises to captivate families again with another line-up of spectacular acts. The first Forecourt Friday kicks off on Friday, 13 December at 4:45 pm with an arts workshop run by Jo Draisma, followed by local vocalist Pep Salce at 6:00 pm, and crowd favourite Cool Out Sun at 7:30 pm.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camp chairs and picnic blankets. You can bring your own dinner or purchase a special dinner offer from Coffee Vibes by Knoxbrooke, but bringing alcohol is not permitted. The West Gippsland Arts Centre bar will be open to serve you. In the event of rain, the festivities will continue inside the venue.

Forecourt Fridays will be held across four dates this Summer:

  • Friday, 13 December 4:45-8:30pm
  • Friday, 17 January 4:45-8:30pm
  • Friday, 14 February 4:45-8:30pm
  • Friday, 21 March 4:45-8:30pm
